Elvia's production division has a strong ownership of the electrification of society and we ensure that close to 2 million people have electricity in their sockets. The division consists of 300 employees who build, maintain and correct faults in the power grid. Our goal is to ensure a stable power supply and have Norway's lowest grid rent. We are now strengthening the department with a newly created management position.

As group manager for logistics and warehousing in Elvia, you will play a key role in the further development of warehouse systems and physical warehouse locations, as well as follow-up of agreements and relationships with our suppliers. The department is currently responsible for ensuring material deliveries to our construction and maintenance projects. With you on the team, the process towards taking a more holistic ownership of logistics for the whole of Elvia begins. Among other things, we are in the midst of a geopolitical situation that places demands on our preparedness commitment. You will therefore be an important driver for further strategic investment in inventory management systems in Norway's largest grid company.

Responsibilities:

  • People management: you are a good team builder and a clear personnel leader for the department
  • Purchasing and contracts: you are a systematist and will, together with the team, ensure that Elvia realizes its full potential in relation to supplier agreements
  • Warehouse: you will be central to the development of both warehouse locations in the business area, as well as system development for inventory management of materials and equipment
  • System development: you will be a driving force for the development of both the ERP system and other systems, to ensure a good numerical basis for further planning
  • Process improvement: you take an active part in improving and further developing work processes in Elvia

You are an experienced people manager who is able to set direction, prioritize and build the team along the way. You are motivated by thinking holistically and contribute with experience from inventory management, purchasing systems or supplier development. With a professional overview, you are driven by ensuring an efficient and emergency-ready supply line of critical materials.
