Are you the one?

Join us on the road to a sustainable society - we're looking for a committed project engineer

The electrification of our grid area is in full swing, and we're in the middle of an exciting development that is crucial for the transition to a more sustainable and renewable society. Now we're looking for you to join us on this journey.

To manage this transition, we need to expand our distribution network in line with our customers' needs and upgrade existing networks. In this position, you will have the opportunity to participate in this by designing the largest projects we have in the distribution network. You will be part of a strong professional environment with committed and skilled colleagues and you will have good opportunities for professional development.

Your workplace will be in our new office premises in Hamar.

Do you want to help make the distribution network ready for the future? Then you might be the right person for us!

The most important tasks that await you:

  • Find technical solutions in specific projects in the distribution network
  • Conduct risk analyses for your projects
  • Map the need for, and secure the necessary private and public law permits in your projects
  • Ensure good dialogue with landowners and public agencies in connection with the planning of your projects

Who are you?

At Elvia, we are curious about who you are, which environments you thrive in and what you can contribute to our meaningful social mission. That's why we don't want you to check off everything we write below before showing interest in the position, but we believe this is useful to succeed and thrive:

You must know electric power, but we are open to you being an energy fitter with a technical vocational school, engineer or civil engineer in the field. It will also be an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with engineering of distribution networks from before.

To succeed in the work with agreements and permits, it will be useful to have good written and oral communication skills, and a structured and accurate approach to your work. In this role, you will need to both take independent responsibility for your projects and work effectively in teams with others. Does this sound like something for you?

Why join Elvia?
As an employee of Elvia, you will be part of a social and inclusive community where we see people as the most important driver of our social mission.

  • Meaningful work in a highly competent work environment, with a focus on innovation and your development
  • You will be part of a company that facilitates flexible solutions in the face of different life situations
  • It goes without saying that you have competitive conditions, proper pension and insurance schemes, coverage of mobile phone and broadband, training grants, occupational health service and subsidized lunch scheme in a tasty canteen
  • Membership of the company sports team with a diverse range of activities from padel, yoga, canoeing, climbing, kiting and more
  • Recharge your batteries after work with access to several company cabins, season tickets and tickets to cultural and sporting events

We can't wait to tell you why it's rewarding to work at Elvia, and are curious about who you are.
