Eidsiva Bioenergi provides renewable energy to society and industry by taking what no one wants - waste products from forests and biomass - and using it to create something that everyone wants: heat and electricity. Do you have a background in IT or automation and want to develop further in a competent department responsible for our energy centers?

As an automation / infrastructure engineer, you will have an important role in the further development of OT infrastructure and security in Eidsiva Bioenergi. You and the team will continue to build a future-oriented OT platform with services that ensure stable and efficient deliveries. With you on the team, we are even more confident that district heating will reach people when cold temperatures and security threats come knocking.

The workplace is in Eidsiva's new, modern head office in Hamar. Other locations can be considered and we facilitate some home office. You will work closely with our skilled operators and professionals at energy centers at Trehørningen, Gjøvik, Elverum, Trysil, Kongsvinger, Eidsvoll, Brumunddal and Lillehammer. Some travel must therefore be expected.

Who are you?

You are someone who is driven by working with technology to secure critical infrastructure. Your technical expertise enables you to understand and further develop IT and OT infrastructure, and includes a broad understanding of industrial technology areas, from sensors to cloud platforms.

We all have our professional strengths and development areas, and we do not expect you to be professionally strong in all the points below. In your CV, we therefore look forward to seeing which of these areas you have experience in:

• Operation and management of OT infrastructure
• Windows server / VMware ESXi / vSphere
• Network operation, design and security
• PLS/HMI/SCADA and automation systems
• Risk management and establishment of security barriers
• Knowledge of relevant standards and basic principles for ICT security

As a person, you are methodical and systematic, and you take the initiative to create good results. You recognize yourself as a team player who listens, understands and engages those around you to adopt new solutions. We will work closely with other professionals and the operations departments, so it is important that you have good communication skills in Norwegian.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in the further development of strategy for IT and OT platform in Eidsiva Bioenergi
• Require, design, quality assure and implement technical solutions, architecture and methods
• Contribute in operational operation and management of OT infrastructure in our energy centers together with the team
• Follow up deliveries from IT and OT operating partner, group IT resources and other relevant professional environments
