Within the Department for Home Care, home care is included in ordinary housing as well as licensed health care personnel for home care. The Department for Home Health Care is responsible for interventions performed by nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in both ordinary housing (home health care) and special housing.

Job duties

As an occupational therapist, it is included that you have good knowledge in the field of assistive devices and to investigate and assess the need for occupational therapy interventions. You are responsible for the occupational therapy part of the rehabilitation efforts in both ordinary and special housing within the areas of elderly and disabled care and psychiatry. Your professional role includes prescribing and testing assistive devices, as well as carrying out ADL assessments. Supervising and training nursing staff in general daily activities is an important part of the work. As a licensed professional, there is also a responsibility for keeping records for the efforts that are planned, implemented and evaluated. Qualifications

Licensed occupational therapist. Preferably with experience from municipal operations. You enjoy working in teams, are flexible, responsive and see solutions to problems. You have a holistic view and a good ability to analyze and reflect from different perspectives and can find solutions depending on needs and situations. Your collaboration with colleagues, users and the network around the user is good and you have a responsive, coaching and supportive approach. Your ability to plan and prioritize is good, both independently and with the support of your colleagues and immediate manager. Meritorious if you have experience from the business. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
