Business description
Tallbackaskolan is an F-6 school with about 300 students as well as an after-school department and two preparatory classes, located in a residential area between Gällivare and Malmberget. At Tallbackaskolan, we work with parts of the Gällivare model, which means that in each class in grades 1–2 there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor.
In grades 3–6, a teacher responsible for teaching works with the support of a class mentor who may be attached to one or more classes. The central student health center is located at the school and the students have access to a school counselor, school nurse, 2 special educators, a school psychologist and the principals. The after-school center is a complement to the school, where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests.

Job duties
As a student assistant, you will be involved in the planning around the student's school day. You will be part of the work team around the class. You will work in close collaboration with the mentor, student health and leisure staff to plan and implement teaching that will enable a good learning environment for the student(s). You are a support and guide for the students and must stimulate students in need of special support for learning, development and independence. Cooperation with guardians is important and you will have a dialogue about the students' learning and development.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a present and responsive approach to students' various needs, are a clear leader and have good cooperation skills. You are independent, responsible and easily take your own initiative. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Working hours/Duration
Full-time, temporary employment until 2025-06-30 with the possibility of extension. Recruitment takes place continuously.
