Job description

Working in the preschool is a challenging, exciting and creative job in close collaboration with colleagues in teams. You have great opportunities to develop in a creative work together with children and colleagues. The children will be given new challenges, support and stimulation for their development and in their learning in collaboration with preschool teachers and childcare workers in the department.

Hedens preschool is also located in central Gällivare and consists of two departments with children aged 1-5 years in each department.

Work tasks
As a nursery nurse, you will, together with the others in the team, carry out the activities planned based on the Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö). The children should be given challenges, support and stimulation in their social development.

Qualifications

Trained childcare worker or other training that the employer considers equivalent. You must have a positive outlook, initiative and of course a genuine interest in children. You should be keen to build trusting relationships with children and parents and have good interpersonal skills. We attach great importance to personal suitability.

Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/duration

Full-time 100%, temporary position during the period 2025-01-01 t.om. 2025-12-31 provided that the necessary decisions are made.
