Mariaskolan is a f-6 school with about 130 students and a recreation department, located in a residential area near the center. At Mariaskolan, the Gällivare model project is underway, which means that each class has a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor.

Work as a teacher in the after-school program at Mariaskolan. We service benefits after legitimation and will adapt your service based on your qualifications

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained and licensed leisure educator / teacher in leisure home. We are looking for you who have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students, are a clear leader and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and easy to take your own initiatives. At Mariaskolan, we develop our work through pedagogical conversations and collegial learning and see it as a strength to be able to help each other to dare to be curious about new ways of working. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.'
