Description of activities
The airport has the task of functioning as part of the national transport infrastructure. This task includes, among other things, handling passenger traffic, mail freight and medical transports.
Duties
As an airport employee, you work with field, ramp and emergency services. The position involves shift work, day and evening and weekend duties. The work is very varied and includes snow removal, baggage handling, shunting, refueling, maintenance of equipment, machinery and airport area. You will also be part of the airport's emergency services. The position requires that you are physically and mentally fit to be part of the airport's rescue service and are prepared to undergo the training and medical examination required for this. As you are part of a shift team, we also place great demands on cooperation skills and a sense of service.
The position requires that you have basic knowledge of English as much of the communication is in English. You also need to have basic computer skills.
Experience of machine driving and snow removal work with trucks and wheel loaders is an advantage. For the fire and rescue service, it is an advantage if you have training equivalent to firefighter / emergency manager, airport firefighter. It is also meritorious if you have a C-card, but not a requirement.
The airport is security classified and a civil protection object. You must therefore be prepared to undergo a security check and register check according to the Security Protection Act.
Working hours / Duration
100% permanent employment. Probationary period may occur.
Start date by agreement.
