Description of activities
Älvgården is a care home (SÄBO) located in a scenic area close to nature and the local area. The accommodation is located at Gällivare Hospital.Älvgården has 68 rooms divided into four group accommodation units: Svedjan and Nybyggaren on floor 7. Rallaren and Flottaren on floor 6. On Älvgården floor 6, 33 people live in two wards, Sarek and Akka.
Work tasks
As an assistant nurse, based on your role as a contact person, you have a central part in the care and care around the residents. The work is based on the individual's needs and the implementation plan, as well as on the guidelines and goals of the business. Your tasks consist of supporting and helping residents with what they cannot do themselves, such as hygiene, medicine, dressing/undressing and socializing. Your work is important for the residents to have a good and safe life. The job also includes administrative tasks such as documentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have education, experience or interest in working in health and social care, have a positive outlook on life, are flexible and responsible. You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language. We are looking for you who are responsible and can cooperate with all professions. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
