We can offer you a varied and challenging job with the opportunity to gain knowledge. In Gällivare municipality, we have a unit with all authority exercise in the field of social services. Within the unit, we have three teams and now we are looking for administrators for the Financial Assistance team.

As direct support in working with cases, you are close to the Coordinator with case guidance every week.

Duties

The duties consist of exercising authority. In the current position, you work with investigating and assessing the right to financial assistance, mediation of own funds and estate notifications. The work includes collaboration with other colleagues in our business and collaboration internally and externally. Development work is ongoing to reduce processing times and provide good service to our citizens.

You should be able to express yourself easily in speech and writing. You should be able to work independently but also enjoy working in a team and be able to maintain good relationships. You are service-oriented, solution-focused and flexible as the work can involve urgent decisions. You need to be confident and have the ability to set boundaries and have a professional approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

As a social worker, emergency duty is included with emergency compensation.

Qualifications

Social worker or other, as the employer deems, equivalent education.
To be successful as an administrator and for you to thrive, it is important that your driving force in the work is that the business achieves set results. You will need to be able to work productively in a stressful environment, be able to control your emotions in difficult situations and be able to maintain a positive attitude to work. You need to be able to maintain good relationships, be confident in yourself and have the ability to set boundaries. The position requires that you have good computer skills.
