Welcome to Fjälldalens preschool. A brand new preschool that is being built at Repisvaara and will open in January 2025. Fjälldalen's preschool is a preschool with six departments where nature and the mountain are close by and where you as an educator get a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the preschool of the future.

At Fjälldalen's preschool you will meet a wonderful group of colleagues who look forward to meeting you and together with your colleagues you will be involved in building a long-term work and meet our children in their very first education and in their very first step in lifelong learning.

Work tasks

The preschool curriculum (Lpfö18) describes the preschool's values and mission and contains goals and guidelines for the work in the preschool. Children in preschool should receive a safe education where care, development and learning form a whole.

The work as a nursery nurse means that you, together with the team, design a safe and developing education for the children at the preschool. The work is challenging, exciting and creative and takes place in close collaboration with your colleagues and work teams. The curriculum guidelines describe the responsibility you have in the team when it comes to developing, following up and evaluating the activities and education.

You as a childcare worker are part of a team and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the education offered to the children. You collaborate with the team and you offer the children a fun and educational education and teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained childminder or who have good experience of working in preschool.

This is important:

• that you are familiar with our governing document, Läroplan för förskolan (Lpfö18),
• that you are a confident and clear leader, have the ability to take your own initiative, are positive and have faith in children's different competencies,
• that you have knowledge of and use digital tools,
• that you are concerned about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills,
• that you use educational conversations and educational documentation in your work,
• that you use image support and TAKK (sign as alternative and complementary communication),
• that you are interested in developing the preschool, for example our learning environments.

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
