Business description

The health care service is organized in a joint Department for Home Care, which is responsible for interventions carried out by nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in both ordinary and special accommodation. We have close cooperation between the units.

Job duties

As a licensed nurse in special housing, you are responsible for health care interventions in care and long-term care housing. The assignment includes coordinating good care and concern for our patients, where you are part of the teamwork around the individual and their relatives. As a nurse in charge of care, the assignment also includes supervision of students, colleagues and health and care staff. You will work together with one or more colleagues depending on which accommodation it is. We are a total of 25 nurses in the team distributed in different areas. But we have close collaboration between colleagues and the medically responsible nurse at the municipality.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse, meritorious if you have further education that is suitable for the assignment or experience in similar work. We see that you are confident both working independently and collaborating with other professionals within the work team. You must also be solution-focused and able to see the overall perspective. We would like to see that you have an interest in developing the business. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. B driving license required.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages ​​Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages ​​is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Until further notice. Gällivare Municipality offers reduced working hours to all permanently employed nurses within the Social Administration. Daytime work with some weekend duty.
