Business description

Tallbackaskolan is a F-6 school with about 350 students as well as an after-school program and two preparatory classes, located in a residential area between Gällivare and Malmberget. The central student health is located at the school and the students have access to a school counselor, school nurse, 2 special educators, school psychologist and the principals.
The after-school program is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests.

Duties

• Support regular staff in the classroom
• Carry out activities with the students according to planning
• Work together with after-school teachers, class mentors, student assistants and house substitutes in the leisure activities
• Support students individually or in groups with school work
• Be a break host

Qualifications

You should be responsible, clear and driven and have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, focus on solutions, innovation, interest and ability to cooperate are qualities that the school values. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. An extract from the criminal record is presented before employment begins.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
