Jupiter is a minority language department with the languages Finnish and Meänkieli. We actively promote children's learning through language development, nature experiences and cultural awareness. Our preschool is linguistically and culturally diverse and offers a rich and varied learning environment that is adapted to the needs and interests of the children.

Duties

As a childminder with us, your main duties will be:

• Support each child in their individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child's learning.
• Participate in the development work of the business and contribute to realizing our common vision.
• Work with developing and promoting the minority languages Finnish and Meänkieli

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained childminder and have language skills in either Meänkieli or Finnish. As a childminder, you should be responsible and have a clear leadership in the group of children, you have an easy time creating good relationships with children, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovation and a strong ability to cooperate are qualities we value highly in our work, we attach great importance to personal suitability.

Extracts from the Police's criminal record, you apply at Polisen.se and are a requirement. The certificate must be presented before employment.

Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish according to the National Minority Languages Act. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
