Business description

Health and medical care is organized in the joint Department of Home Care, which is responsible for interventions performed by nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in both ordinary and special housing. A 24-hour operation.

Duties

As a registered nurse at night, you and a colleague are responsible for health care interventions in care homes and ordinary housing. The assignment includes coordinating good care and care, where you are part of the teamwork around the individual and his relatives. The assignment also includes supervision in the work team. You will work together with a colleague at night but are part of a larger team of 25 nurses in total. Most of the tasks are emergency interventions that you receive by phone from health and care staff, some planned interventions are available but are limited at night.

Qualifications

Legitimized nurse, meritorious if you have further education that is suitable for the assignment. You should be able to work independently but also be able to collaborate with other staff within the work team to provide the best care to our patients. You also have an interest in developing the business and you are solution-focused as a person. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A B driving license is required.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Hours of work/Duration

Vacation, full-time, until: September 30, 2025 with the possibility of extension. The structure of the schedule is every other week. Work Mon-Sun (waking up Monday morning).
