Business description

Health and medical care is organized in the joint Department of Home Care, which is responsible for the efforts of nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in both ordinary and special housing. This service will be based on one of our nursing homes (special housing).

Duties

As a registered nurse, you are responsible for health and medical care efforts in Care and Care Homes.

The assignment includes coordinating good care and care, where you are part of the teamwork around the individual and his relatives. The assignment also includes supervision in the work team. As a daytime nurse, you will work as a nurse in charge of nursing. You will work with one or more colleagues, depending on the type of accommodation. We are a total of 25 nurses in the team divided into different areas. But we have close collaboration between colleagues and the medically responsible nurse at the municipality.

Qualifications

Legitimized nurse, meritorious if you have further education that is suitable for the assignment or experience of similar work. You should be confident in working independently but also be confident in working in a team with other staff and preferably be solution-focused. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A B driving license is required.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours / Duration

Full-time position during the day with some weekend work.

Gällivare Municipality offers reduced working hours to all permanently employed nurses in the Social Administration.
