Business description

The social service is looking for temporary temporary workers who can work throughout the year if necessary and also summer temporary workers during the period June-August. Services are provided around the clock, every day of the year, to people who need support to cope with their daily lives. The social administration's activities are in home care, care and care housing (housing for the elderly) and in the field of disability.

When working with children and young people under the age of 18, we request an extract from the National Police Agency's charge register.

Presentation of identification is mandatory for all substitutes. You may also need to show a current work permit or residence permit.

Job duties

You must be able to provide good care and concern, activate and supervise the individual based on the individual's needs. During your temporary work placement and based on your skills, you may work in several of the social administration's activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience or an interest in working in healthcare. Health care training or other training that the employer deems to be equivalent is meritorious. We value that you have good cooperation skills and a positive driving force when meeting with the people who need support and help. You are flexible, responsible and patient, you must be at least 18 years old. In order to complete the work, sufficient knowledge of spoken and written Swedish is required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages ​​Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages ​​is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Requirement

Driving license B for home care, rural areas and certain activities within disability. Presentation of a driver's license is mandatory if you are employed in areas where a driver's license is required.

Requirements for presentation of workload records for work within the Department for Functional Disabilities.

Working hours/Duration

Hourly employment during the year.

Scheduled working hours during June-August.

Salary

Salary according to contract. Benefits according to Gällivare municipality's guidelines.
