Hedskolan is a f-6 school with adapted primary school that is 3-paralellig with about 400 students and 100 employees. We are centrally located in Gällivare municipality within walking distance of the sports hall, swimming pool, etc. Hedskolan has a well-developed approach to collegial learning that covers all parts of the curriculum. We can thus offer continuous skills development of driven process leaders, PAX and IBIS instructors and IT educators.

Work tasks

As a special teacher at Hedskolan Adapted Primary School, you are expected to conduct work that puts the student's learning at the center. You are a committed teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You take the pupils' perspective as your starting point when you, together with other staff and management, organize, run and develop the school. As a special needs teacher with us, you are involved in creating opportunities where all students are offered the opportunity to achieve the goals and where learning is perceived as meaningful, stimulating and enjoyable. As a teaching teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that the students in your teaching group are challenged based on their conditions in order to develop towards their full potential.

Qualifications

Degree as a special education teacher with a license. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have an easy time creating good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, innovation, interest in and ability to collaborate are qualities that the school values. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability. Previous work with students with NPF meritorious.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
