Mariaskolan is a f-6 school with about 130 students and a recreation department, located in a residential area near the center. At Mariaskolan, the Gällivare model project is underway, which means that in each class 1-6 they work a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor.

Work tasks

50% Teaching physical education and health for students from grades 1-6 and other tasks for teachers. The position can be combined with other subjects for 100%

Qualifications

We are looking for you with teacher training in physical education and health. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and experience of working with children and young people. Requirements for employment - extract from the police's criminal record.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
