Welcome to Fjälldalens preschool. A brand new preschool that is currently being built up at Repisvaara and which will open in January 2025. Fjälldalen's preschool is a preschool with six departments where nature and the mountain are close by and where you as an educator get a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the preschool of the future.
We are now looking for you who want to help start Fjälldalen's preschool, build up a long-term work and meet our children in their very first education and in their first step in lifelong learning.
You will also meet colleagues and children from the former Älvens preschool, where there are four departments that move to Fjälldalens preschool.
Tasks
You as a preschool teacher are part of a team and are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the teaching offered to the children. You collaborate with the team and you offer the children a fun and learning education and teaching. As a preschool teacher, you have a special responsibility to lead the goal-oriented processes and in teaching be responsible for:
- care, development and learning form a whole,
- planning and implementation are based on the curriculum and on the knowledge and experiences that the children have previously acquired,
- spontaneously arising activities and interests, everyday activities and routines in the preschool become part of the teaching, and
- develop educational content and environments that inspire development and learning and that challenge and stimulate the children's interest and curiosity and keep their attention.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher.
It is important:
- that you are well acquainted with the curriculum (Lpfö18),
- that you are a confident and clear leader, take initiative, are positive and have faith in children's different competencies,
- that you have knowledge of and use digital tools,
- that you have trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills,
- that you use pedagogical conversations and pedagogical documentation in your work,
- that you use image support and TAKK (sign as alternative and complementary communication),
- that you develop and drive the preschool forward according to the curriculum.
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
