The work in the preschool is a challenging, exciting and creative job in close collaboration with colleagues in teams. The children will be given new challenges, receive support and stimulation for their development and in their learning in collaboration with preschool teachers and nannies in the department.Gällivare municipality is undergoing a major social transformation. Come and join us on this exciting journey! Hedens preschool is also located in central Gällivare and consists of two departments with children aged 1-5 years in each department.

Work tasks

As a resource, you will, together with the others in the team, carry out the activities planned based on the Curriculum for preschool (Lpfö). You will be the child's support and guide during the stay at the preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an upper secondary education or Childcare education with competence and experience in working with children in need of special support or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
It is meritorious if you have experience and knowledge of visual impairment. You have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students, are a clear and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and able to take initiative. We attach great importance to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
