Business description
Tallbackaskolan is an F-6 school with about 300 pupils, a recreation center and two preparatory classes, located in a residential area between Gällivare and Malmberget. At Tallbackaskolan we work with parts of the Gällivare model, which means that in each class in grades 1-2 there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor.
In grades 3-6, a teacher responsible for teaching works with the support of a class mentor who may be attached to one or more classes. The central student health service is located at the school and students have access to a school counselor, school nurse, 2 special educators, school psychologist and the principals.
Fritidshemmet is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests.
Duties and responsibilities
As a student assistant, you will be involved in planning around the student's school day. You will be part of the team around the class. You will work in close collaboration with the mentor, student health and leisure staff to plan and implement teaching that will enable a good learning environment for the student / students. You are a support and guide for the students and will stimulate students in need of special support for learning, development and independence. Cooperation with guardians is important and you will have a dialog about the students' learning and development.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a present and responsive approach to students' different needs, are a clear leader and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and able to take initiative. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
High school diploma
Working hours/duration
Full-time, fixed-term employment until 2025-06-30 with the possibility of extension.
