Business description

Solkatten implements two interventions according to LSS. These are short-term supervision/leisure time for schoolchildren over the age of 12 and short-term stays. Children/young people are entitled to short-term supervision/leisure time before and after the end of school, during holidays, study days and longer holidays such as summer vacations. Short-term stay offers the individual a change of environment and recreation as well as relief for relatives.

Work tasks

You work with children/young people/adults who have interventions according to LSS. The work is varied and involves both nursing work and leisure activities with the individual, where social training is an important part. Your efforts should contribute to good and developing care and quality of life for the individual.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a three-year nursing program, assistant nursing education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Previous experience of working in LSS is meritorious. We see that you contribute to creating a meaningful and safe stay where the activities are shaped according to the individual's specific strengths, interests and needs. We see that you are interested in outdoor life as part of the work takes place outdoors, through physical activities and excursions. You also have good collaboration skills, are responsive, patient, flexible and take initiative in development and change work. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

B driving license is required.

Requirements for employment - Extract from the police's criminal record.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time, Permanent employment. Day, evening, weekend and night shifts. Probationary period may be applied
