Höken is a daily activity at the Social Administration that implements the intervention daily employment according to LSS.

Tasks

Höken's daily activities work with users who have interventions according to LSS. The role of the educator is to work based on each user's needs / conditions / interests to develop the ability and opportunity for independence and participation in society through properly designed support, guidance and pedagogy. You are responsible for educational planning in consultation with other employees and the unit manager. The service includes collaboration/exchange of experience with other educators within LSS in order to develop pedagogical working methods/methods. Your work also includes care for the users.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a university / college education as a leisure educator / special educator or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We are looking for you with experience of working with people with disabilities / LSS and good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing is a requirement. In your work, you are present and put the individual's needs in focus. Your interest in working with people with disabilities is genuine and you provide good treatment. As a person, we see that you are confident, solution-focused and can work independently and take responsibility. You are easy to cooperate and see the importance of good cooperation with users, relatives, colleagues and other people in and around the business.

B driving license is a requirement.

Extracts from the police's criminal record are required for employment

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
