Business description

Hedskolan is a nice 3-paralellig F-6 school with adapted primary school. We have about 500 students and 100 staff, located in a residential area and close to the center. The proximity to both the forest and ski tracks is tangible and is used extensively by students and teachers in teaching and at breaks. At Hedskolan we have three leisure departments that all interact with each other.

We are now looking for 3 teachers for Hedskolans fritidshem!

Arbetsuppgifter

As a teacher in the leisure home, you plan and teach at the leisure home's three departments together with other teachers in the leisure home. You are based on the after-school program's curriculum. In your daily work, you also collaborate with class mentors and student assistants. The assignment also includes interacting with other school staff

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school care. It is advantageous if you are flexible and have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students. You need to have the knowledge to handle computers and technology in your daily work. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have an ability to build good relationships with pupils, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, innovation, a solution-oriented approach, interest in and ability to collaborate are qualities that the school values. You will also be a clear leader with good teamwork skills, who is also independent, responsible and able to take initiative. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

For employment, an extract from the criminal record is required.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
