Business description
Tallbackaskolan is a school with about 330 children aged 6-13 years, located in the middle area, between Malmberget and Gällivare. The atmosphere is characterized by openness and curiosity about new ways of working. We place great emphasis on pedagogical discussions and collegial learning, which is the driving force in our development work. Special educators, counselor and school nurse are at our school and we work together for the benefit of the students in a student health team. As a new teacher with us, you will be supervised by experienced teachers.
Work tasks
Work as a teacher in the pre-primary class.
Qualifications
Teaching degree, meritorious if you also have a degree in Swedish as a second language.
Do you want to be involved in creating a safe and inspiring learning environment for newly arrived students? We work in a team of two teachers to give all students a good foundation in the Swedish language and a good start in the Swedish school system. You plan and implement teaching with a focus on language and knowledge development, adapt teaching individually and follow up the student's work continuously. Collaboration with subject teachers, student health teams and other staff is an important part of your work to support students' knowledge development and integration into the regular teaching that is the goal for the student.
You should be responsible, clear and driven, and have easy to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, innovative thinking, interest in and ability to cooperate are qualities that the school values.
Extracts from the police's criminal record are a requirement.
Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
