Hello! Are you our new teacher for Hakkas school? As a teacher in Hakkas, we can offer you a meaningful and varied job in one of Gällivare municipality's rural schools. The school in Hakkas is a f6-9: school where some classes are taught in B-form, which is the case with our 2-3: with 13 students. The school has 72 pupils in total. Teachers and other staff work closely together, many with cross-grade duties. When you start a new position as a teacher in Gällivare municipality, you are offered supervision by an experienced teacher for 1 year, a mentor who will act as a support for you in your new position.

Duties

As a teacher, you work with teaching. You prepare, plan, implement and evaluate pupils' progress and your own teaching based on the curriculum. You work in close collaboration with guardians and other staff at the school. You will also be the responsible mentor for your class..

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license. We also welcome applications from those who are about to finish or who have started their teacher training for primary school! You should be responsible and have a clear leadership in the classroom, and be able to build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovative thinking, interest in and ability to cooperate are qualities that Gällivare municipality's primary school values. We attach great importance to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish.
