Business description
Tallbackaskolan is a school with about 330 children aged 6-13 years, located in the middle area, between Malmberget and Gällivare. The atmosphere is characterized by openness and curiosity about new ways of working. We place great emphasis on pedagogical discussions and collegial learning, which is the driving force in our development work. Special educators, counselor and school nurse are at our school and we work together for the benefit of the students in a student health team. As a new teacher with us, you will be supervised by experienced teachers.
Work tasks
Work as a visual arts teacher in grades 3-6.
Qualifications
Teacher's degree with qualifications in visual arts, grades 3-6. You should be responsible, clear and driven, and find it easy to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues.
Commitment, solution focus, innovation, interest in and ability to collaborate are qualities that the school values.
Extracts from the police record are a requirement.
Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration
40% permanent employment. Probationary period may apply.
The position can possibly be combined with teaching in other subjects.
