Maria Preschool is located in central Gällivare close to the library, swimming pool and museum.
Maria Preschool has organized the activities in age-divided groups. The preschool consists of 2 buildings with separate courtyards. In one building there are 3 departments with children aged 1-2 years. In the other building there are 5 departments with children in age-divided groups aged 3-5 years. At Maria preschool we work in 3,4, and 5: year groups which means that the teams collaborate across the departments and give the children the opportunity to explore and discover different learning environments.
Work tasks
The work as a childminder means that you, together with the team, design a safe and developing education for the children in the preschool's department. The curriculum guidelines describe the responsibility you have in the team when it comes to developing, following up and evaluating the activities and education.
You as a childcare worker are part of a team and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the teaching offered to the children. In collaboration with the team, the children should be given new challenges and receive support and stimulation in their social development.
Qualifications
Trained childcare worker or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
Working hours/Duration
100% TV. Probationary period may be applied.

Salary according to agreement, state your salary claim.
