Business description

Mariaskolan is a f-6 school with about 150 students and a recreation department, located in a residential area near the center. At Mariaskolan, the Gällivare model project is underway, which means that in each class 1-6 they work a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor.

Tasks

Teach wood and metalwork in grades 3-6.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher's degree with qualifications in wood and metalwork for students in years F-6. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have an easy time creating good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, innovation, interest in and ability to collaborate are qualities that the school values. We also attach great importance to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
