The mission of the Growth and Attractiveness Department is to create the conditions for long-term and sustainable growth and an attractive municipality to live in. In Gällivare municipality, social transformation is currently underway combined with an expansive mining industry. We are also facing major industrial investments in the future and thus have an increased labor need. The focus of the department is to coordinate, initiate and drive growth and attractiveness work that is strategically important for Gällivare municipality.

Under the department there is a centrally located communication unit that supports the municipality's operations with the strategic and operational communication work.
We are now looking for you who have a great commitment to the web, digital communication and development work.

Duties

In the role of web manager communicator, you will develop and manage the municipality's internal and external websites and support the administrations with communication efforts. Together with others in the communications team, you will be an important part of driving the communications department's development work, especially linked to internal and external web. You work both at a strategic level, but also have a good understanding of operational web work in collaboration with an external web agency. The work includes building a functioning editorial network and holding training courses and workshops.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with:

• Communications degree at college level or equivalent
• A minimum of three years' experience as a web strategist or communicator with a web focus
• Good knowledge of packaging text for different channels
• Experience working with Sitevision is an advantage
• Experience working with large external and internal websites
• You are knowledgeable about legal requirements and rules for web publishing and have an interest in keeping up to date with developments in web and eservices.
• Driving license is a requirement
