Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will have a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' needs and requirements are met in the best possible way. Your primary responsibilities and duties will include:

• Performing service interventions at our customers' sites with a focus on installation, repair, and maintenance of our devices in operation.
• Providing technical support and training to customers and their staff to ensure proper use and operation of our products.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues in close collaboration with our Application team.
• Perform preventive maintenance work to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our products.
• Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally to meet customer needs and perform service interventions.

Your work will be autonomous and require a high degree of mechanical competence, problem solving skills and accuracy. You will be an important part of our service and application team and act as our representative towards customers and partners.

The workplace can be varied and includes both service efforts at customers as well as work at other locations, both nationally and internationally.

Qualifications:

To be successful in the role of service technician, it is desirable that you have experience of technical work and mechanics within the industry. Your ability to work independently and in a team, as well as to solve problems effectively is crucial.

Your personal qualities such as drive, commitment and willingness to develop are important to thrive and succeed in the role. You should also be solution-oriented and have the ability to adapt to different situations with a positive attitude.

The role requires the following:

• B driving license
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Good English knowledge in speech and writing
• Mechanical skills
• Ability to work in varying environments and handle different tasks

Additional qualifications include:

• Previous experience in service and maintenance of technical equipment
• Experience working in the mining industry or similar areas
• Basic knowledge of blasting and charging
• Trucking license
• Experience with welding work

The role is varied as you will work in different projects where Hypex technology is in many cases tested for the first time. You will work closely with our research and development department and will introduce new products and technologies. To succeed in the role, you need to be responsible, self-driven, curious, positive and thorough. You need to be responsive, flexible and willing to travel and work away for periods when the nature and location of the work can vary greatly. You are an engaged, positive and sociable person who is able to spot opportunities and clearly communicate your ideas in large groups. You have a solution-oriented approach, listening skills and a willingness to improve existing working practices. You have high risk awareness and understanding and respect for instructions, laws and regulations.
