Job description

In the role of Site Manager at Hypex Bio's factory in Kankberg, you work to manage, motivate and support your employees to ensure that production, work environment and logistics work optimally.

Your role involves both operational and administrative management. The operational responsibility is to ensure that the factory produces and delivers products according to the manufacturing and delivery processes and that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly. Your administrative responsibilities include leading and supporting your staff in their daily work, ensuring that the working environment is good, that professionalism and competence are maintained, and that the budget and resources are within the company's limits and the needs of the site. The role involves staff responsibilities.

The position is full-time and the workplace is Hypex Bio's facility at the Kankberg mine in Boliden.

Qualifications

You have very good social and communication skills and are skilled at adapting your communication to the target group, whether it is people in the production room, in the office or with customers. A technical or engineering background is desirable but not required.

You should have a background in production and factory operations. Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure are key. Experience of managing small teams and running improvement projects is highly advantageous, as is a good understanding of production processes and resource optimization.

It is also advantageous to have documented experience of working with health and safety issues and safety procedures, as well as being used to managing budgets and operational targets.

The role requires the following:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in the manufacturing or mining industry
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
  • Advanced English in speech and writing
  • B-driving license

Meriterative:

  • Leadership experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or similar standard
  • Technical training
  • Cdriving license
  • Wheel loader and forklift license
  • Experience in underground blasting
  • Blasting license
  • AM work
  • Training as a manager for LBE (Flammable goods)
