The Faculty of Film, TV and Games at the University of Inland Norway consists of the Norwegian Film School, the TV School and the Games School. The faculty was gathered as one unit from August 1, 2024 to create optimal framework conditions for further development of our audiovisual academic environments. The faculty takes responsibility for artistic education at the highest level in film, TV and games, with the aim of being nationally leading and internationally recognized.
The TV School offers education in creative, technical and administrative functions related to professional program production and documentary film. The programs focus on storytelling, project development and collaboration with the TV industry to ensure industry-oriented and relevant education.
The position as associate professor, alternatively college lecturer in multi-camera technology is part of the TV School's multi-camera professional environment and is initially a permanent, 100% position, but smaller position shares can be considered depending on the candidate's expertise and the department's needs.

Documented practical pedagogical education and experience from teaching and supervision at university and college level, cf. Regulations to the Universities and Colleges Act. Applicants who are unable to document pedagogical competence at the time of appointment are obliged to complete the university college's course in higher education pedagogy or equivalent within two years of appointment.

The assessment of which candidate is best qualified is based on an overall assessment of education, experience and personal suitability and other qualification requirements as formulated in the advertisement, in addition to motivation for the position.
The position and associated tasks must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for government employees, including the Act on Control of Exports of Strategic Goods, Services and Technology, etc. Candidates who, after assessment of the application and attachments, conflict with the criteria in the latter Act, will not be able to take up the position at the University of Inland Norway.
