About the position

At the University of Inland Norway - Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and Faculty of Film, TV and Games, 2 temporary positions are available in 100% position for the period 01.04.2025 - 31.03.2026. The positions are linked to the subject area examination.

The positions are in the administration, which is a unified unit with support functions for the faculties' activities. As a first consultant in the subject area of exams, you will be part of a team with other exam staff in the administration, as well as a larger subject team across the faculties at the university. There is an expectation of presence on campus, and the workplace will be Lillehammer.


Responsibilities and duties

  • Examination administration - planning, implementation and follow-up
  • Study administration case management, including handling of complaints, facilitation of exams and preparation of cases to institutional level
  • Study guidance related to the examination area
  • Registration and control work in the university's study administration system FS and the examination system Inspera
  • Information, supervision and training of academic and administrative staff
  • Collaboration with teaching staff and external examiners and invigilators

Other administrative tasks may be added to the positions as needed.

Some travel between the university's campuses can be expected.


Qualifications

You must have:

  • Relevant university/university college education, minimum at bachelor's level. Documented prior learning can replace parts of the educational requirement.

It is a prerequisite that you can/have:

  • Work in a structured, accurate and systematic manner
  • High work capacity, ability to carry out tasks, can work independently and exercise flexibility in solving tasks
  • Apply laws and regulations in practical work and solutions
  • Good cooperation and communication skills, and are service-minded
  • Good digital skills and system understanding
  • Good presentation skills in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English, orally and in writing

Experience from: :

  • Public administration, including case management
  • Teamwork and establishing good working relationships
  • Study administrative work/case management in the university and university college sector, preferably from exam administration
  • Guiding students, academic staff and others
  • Use of Excel

It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of study administrative system applications and one or more of the following systems: FS (common student system) P360 (archive/case management), Inspera (exams), Canvas (learning platform).

The assessment of which candidate is best qualified will be a comprehensive assessment of education, experience and personal suitability, in addition to motivation and other qualification requirements as formulated in the text of the advertisement.

The position and associated tasks must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for government employees, including the Act on Control of Exports of Strategic Goods, Services and Technology, etc. Candidates who, after assessment of the application and attachments, conflict with the criteria in the latter act, will not be able to take up the position at the University of Inland Norway.
