Sykehjemmene i Elverum is looking for energetic and committed vacation temps to join our teams in the summer of 2025

The vacation will take place in the weeks 26 - 33. We need skilled vacation temps at five nursing homes: Moen nursing home, Sætre nursing home, Jotunhaugen nursing home, Lyngholtet nursing home and Helsehuset.

We offer an exciting vacation job at the nursing homes in Elverum municipality, and we are looking for nurses, health professionals and skilled workers who have experience in nursing and care. Students and pupils who have started a health care education, and others with relevant experience, are also welcome as applicants. It is desirable that the applicant can work at least four consecutive weeks during the vacation period.

About our nursing homes:

• Moen nursing home with a central location in Elverum. There are 37 long-term somatic patients on two wards.
• Jotunhaugen nursing home has a central location and a nice view of the city. There are two somatic units with eight patients each, and a sheltered unit with eight patients.
• Sætre nursing home is located in scenic surroundings 12 km east of the city center. It is divided into two sections, a retirement home section with 16 residents and a nursing home section with 10 patients.
• Lyngholtet is located south of the city center, and it has three groups that are adapted for patients with a dementia diagnosis. There are 20 patients here
• The hospital is located in the city center, close to Innlandet Hospital. It has three wards, two long-term somatic wards and one short-term/rehabilitation ward. The wards have between 22 and 24 patients.

We ask that the applicant states in the application if they have special wishes about the workplace.

Tasks

• Care for patients in nursing homes
• Tasks in connection with meals
• Observation and documentation - we use Gerica as a documentation system
• Follow-up of various routines in the departments

Qualifications

Desired qualifications:

• Nurses
• Health care professionals
• Students and trainees in health-related education
• Others with relevant experience/practice
• Police clearance certificate, more recent than three months must be presented when offering a position
