The Medical Outpatient Clinic consists of the fields of cardiac diseases, digestive diseases, hormone diseases/diabetes and pulmonary diseases. In addition, research nurses and clinical nutritionists work with us. The medical outpatient clinic has approximately 19 full-time equivalents, and works closely with the other departments at the hospital.

We are looking for nurses/student nurses/health professionals/medical students. We have several vacant vacation positions at the pulmonary outpatient clinic, cardiac outpatient clinic and gastrolab.
Position percentage up to 100% from 09.06.25 to 17.08.25 or by agreement.

Duties

• Receive, inform and prepare patients for examinations at the cardiac outpatient clinic (cardiac ultrasound, electroconversion, Holter ECG, work ECG). Tasks: Take vital measurements, and ECG. Connect patient to echo machine. Program and connect patient to Holter ECG.
• Receive, inform and prepare patients for examinations at the pulmonary outpatient clinic, e.g.: perform spirometry and gait tests, possibly take blood samples. Assist the doctor with bronchoscopies and pleural taps.
• Receive, inform and prepare patients for examinations at the gastrolab. E.g. lay down a stool, as well as other tasks as agreed.
• Cleaning up after examinations.
• Reprocess endoscopes and bronchoscopes at the gastrolab.
• Answer phones and be available for collaborating personnel.
• Close collaboration with nurses, health professionals, secretaries, echo technicians and doctors in the outpatient clinic.
• Continuous disinfection of medical-technical equipment, as well as replenishment of stock items/equipment.
• Order transport of patients in Ascom job agent.
• Documentation in DIPS Arena
• Other tasks as agreed.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in a Scandinavian language both orally and in writing
• Nurses
• Health professionals
• Health secretaries
• Nursing students or medical students
• Experience in one or more of the fields of heart, lung or gastro is an advantage, but not a requirement
