The Eating Disorders Unit assesses and treats patients with eating disorders, after referral from DPS.
The unit has an area function for the whole of Norway and has 7 inpatient beds. The unit is small and clear, and is centrally located in Gjøvik next to Gjøvik Hospital.

The unit is looking for summer temps who want to work in an engaging work environment. We need temps in the weeks 25-33.
We are looking for nurses, protective nurses, and health professionals. Students in the various disciplines can also apply.

Please state in your application what period of time you can work. We are interested in you working as continuously as possible, but single days for a few consecutive days off can be discussed. Relevant candidates will be contacted on an ongoing basis for an interview

Work tasks

• Patient and next of kin work in an interdisciplinary work environment
• Implement health professional procedures and routines associated with the unit, based on their own level of competence and area of responsibility
• Maintain patient safety
• Environmental therapeutic tasks
  
• Electronic patient record (DIPS Arena)
• Weekend work, every 2nd or 3rd weekend, together with experienced environmental therapists. weekend, together with experienced environmental therapists
• In the summer, it may be relevant with all types of shifts (day, evening and night)

Qualifications

• We want nurses / nurses / health professionals / students in health sciences
• Norwegian authorization for those with completed studies
• Ability to work both in teams and independently
• Good relational abilities
• Requirements for Norwegian oral and written skills
• Desirable with experience from work in a psychiatric inpatient unit
• The applicant must have a good command of Norwegian, both written and oral
