The surgical department consists of a total of 8 operating rooms. We have the following areas of expertise: gastro, uro, plastic, breast/endocrine, vascular and robotic surgery. SI Hamar is a trauma hospital and operates around the clock all year round. We are an active department, with a focus on professional development and treat around 6,200 patients annually. There is a high degree of stability in the staff group, and we have an exciting and meaningful working day. The department is characterized by high activity and a good atmosphere.

The department has the following position available:
Surgical nurse holiday substitute in three-part rotation, or day position, from approx. 23.06.25 to 17.08.25.

Tasks

• Surgical nursing in all the above-mentioned disciplines, both sterile executive and coordinating function
• Rolls within all disciplines
• Participation in trauma teams
• On duty, the sterile center is operated by surgical nurses
  
• On duty, cleaning of operating rooms and other equipment is performed by surgical and anesthesia nurses. and anesthesia nurses

Qualifications

• The applicant must be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian
• Trained operating room nurse, at least 2 years of experience
• Desirable with experience as a surgical nurse from relevant disciplines, as well as surgical nursing in trauma teams
• Must be able to work at least 4 weeks continuously during the period
