The women's clinic at Innlandet Hospital is located in Lillehammer and consists of a maternity ward, pregnancy outpatient clinic, gynecological ward with outpatient clinic and sexual assault clinic.
We are looking for midwives, student midwives, nurses, student nurses, pediatric nurses or pediatric nursing students who want to work at the Women's Clinic at Innlandet Hospital this summer.
The department is characterized by high competence and has a very good working environment. We will welcome you and hope you want to get to know our field and our department better. You will have varied and exciting tasks related to women's health, a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the field and gain experience and expertise.
Applicants with a special interest in the field and the opportunity to work at least four weeks will be prioritized.

Tasks
Midwife: Follow-up and care for the pregnant woman through pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period, including enhanced postnatal care.
Nurse: Nursing and care for women admitted to the gynecological ward. The tasks vary between caring for gynecological cancer patients, pre- and post-operative nursing, caring for women with complications in early pregnancy and medical abortions. For nurses with special interest/experience, it may be relevant to work in the maternity ward.
Pregnancy nurse: Assisting at births. Care and guidance for new parents. Care, observation and follow-up of newborn babies in the maternity ward.
Assistant: Assist midwives and pediatric nurses as needed. Cleaning of delivery rooms and patient rooms, moving patients between labor and delivery, simple patient care such as receiving patients, taking clocks and some observations. Generally keeping the ward in order! There is a separate job description for assistants and there will be joint training.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian
Nurses and midwives must have Norwegian authorization
Health professionals with further education in maternity and child care
