Are you the one?

An important goal and ambition for the Prehospital Services Division is to provide the right transport to the right person. The Prehospital Services Division has therefore established a transport service intended for uncomplicated lying assignments according to the principle of the lowest effective level of care (LEON).


A unit has been established that is responsible for planned, organized transports for lying/carrying patients using hospital transport vehicles. The unit is located in the department for AMK/Syketransport/Pasientreiser.


The unit has an office in Moelv with mercantile personnel and operational personnel currently stationed at ambulance stations close to the hospitals.

The ambulance transport officers are included in the rotation distributed on cars with opening hours within the period 08:00 - 20:00. Some work on weekends.
We now have available summer shifts / on-call shifts as hospital transport officers on hospital transport vehicles, primarily working in the weeks 24-35:
- Positions with currently attendance at both Gjøvik, Lillehammer and Moelv ambulance station.
- Positions with currently attendance at both Elverum, Hamar and Moelv ambulance station.

Qualifications

We are looking for employees with expertise and experience from patient-oriented work. There is no requirement to be an authorized health professional.
Relevant experience from work with patient contact is emphasized, for example from work as a health professional, porter, nursing assistant or similar.
Driver's license class B.
Must be fluent in Norwegian
Have basic IT skills
Physical fitness, as the work involves moving patients.
