Are you the one?
Student and passionate about sustainability? Future-oriented industry that is essential in the green shift is looking for interns!

The REdu program is the waste and recycling industry's joint recruitment program. The waste and recycling industry in Norway has undergone major change and development in recent years, and is today characterized by advanced technology, exciting innovation stories and sustainability and circular economy in practice. In the summer of 2024, we had a record number of applicants for internships and awarded 62 different positions around the country. In the summer of 2025, we hope to offer as many internships!

By applying for a summer internship through the REdu program, you get the opportunity to work with circular economy, environment and sustainability in a future-oriented industry.

Read experiences from previous interns here: https://redu.no/redu-internship-erfaringer/

We offer:

  • 4-8 weeks with full pay at one of our REdu partners: http://bit.ly/3ZEBYP0

  • Job in many different disciplines. The tasks will vary depending on which REdu partner you work with.

  • The opportunity to spend a summer in a different part of the country than you normally live. For example, how about spending the summer in Ullensvang Municipality with its beautiful fjords and mountains, at HIM in Haugalandet or at Sirkula in Hamar?

  • A foot in the door of a future-oriented and growing industry, and a relevant network for further career opportunities. With some partners, an internship can also grow into a full- or part-time position, or a master's collaboration.

  • Relevant experience in several disciplines, and insight into one of Norway's most indispensable industries.

Who are we looking for:

  • Students in higher education, at bachelor's and master's level.

  • Students who want to help make a difference.

  • Students from all fields of study are encouraged to apply. In previous years, the following fields of study have been of particular interest:

-Technology

-Natural sciences

-Social sciences

-Economics and administration

-Psychology

-Communication

-Law

-Urban development/architecture

...but if you have a completely different study background, you are just as welcome to apply. The industry needs people with different skills, and in several internships, interdisciplinary teams are desired.

Good to understand before you apply:

  • REdu partners themselves design projects and issues on an ongoing basis, which they want to hire interns to work on in the summer of 2025. By filling out the application form, your application becomes available to all partners, who will then contact relevant candidates directly.
