Project "JOB:U team Kongsvinger", is looking for young people who want an active summer job outside!

Do you like to work outside, are curious about forestry or just looking for a summer job? Then you have a great opportunity now! Kongsvinger municipality, in collaboration with Skogselskapet i Hedmark and Sør-Hedmark Næringshage, is looking for young people aged 15-25 for a summer job in the forest. This is a summer job offer that mainly extends over 3 weeks. The working period is agreed with the municipality.

Applicants who are offered a summer job will be certified through a free course in young forest care with a chainsaw. The course will run over 2-3 days in week 26.

• Young forest care
• Pre-clearing
• Participation in joint trip to Evenstad 9.July 9 (forestry education in Innlandet)

Qualifications

• Youth between the ages of 15 and 25
• Interested in forests and forestry, preferably with ongoing or desired forestry education
• Can transport themselves or be transported to the agreed meeting place

Personal qualities

You must enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather and the summer job can be physically demanding. You will work together in a team and you will have a supervisor who follows you up on a daily basis.
