VARIED AND EXCITING SUMMER JOB FOR HEALTH CARE WORKERS/HELP TEACHERS AND CARE WORKERS IN THE HOME CARE SERVICE!

The home care service is one of the largest service areas in Lillehammer municipality and includes home nursing, practical assistance, everyday rehabilitation, full-time care housing (HDO), user-controlled personal assistance (BPA), and three housing collectives for people with dementia. The service has approximately 220 FTEs and provides services to around 1,200 residents.

The home care service can offer you a wide range of tasks and works both in home care and in residential care. The variation in tasks is great at home with seriously ill people, to more traditional "nursing and care". You can drive around from assignment to assignment and work independently, or work inside a ward.

This summer we offer summer compensation of up to NOK 20,000!

If you work 4 weeks continuously in a 100% position, a summer compensation of NOK. 10,000, and if you work 6 weeks with us, the compensation is NOK. 20 000.

Work tasks

• Practice professionally sound health care, cf. legislation that regulates our service.
• Work directly with nursing challenges and assessments of the individual patient.
• Contribute to good patient experiences with mastery, co-determination, goals and opportunities.
  
• Contribute to the preparation of professional nursing procedures.
• Medication management according to given procedures.
• Collaborate with staff in other departments in the service area, and interdisciplinary with other professional groups and services.

Qualifications

• Health care worker education
• Good knowledge of Norwegian orally and in writing.
• Foreign employees must pass language requirement B2.

When offering a position, there is a requirement for an approved police certificate, cf. Health and Care Services Act § 5-4.
