Skogselskapet i Hedmark is a non-profit membership organization whose purpose is to promote understanding of the multifaceted importance of the forest, and to work for increased value creation and long-term, sustainable management of the forest. The company's vision is that all people should experience the forest as a valuable source of quality of life.

Skogselskapet, together with Grue municipality, is looking for 4 young people between the ages of 15 and 25 who want a summer job in the forest. This is a summer job offer that mainly extends over 3 weeks. With additional funding and access to assignments, the position can be extended by one week. Each participant will receive a 3-day free course in pre-clearing and nursery care. The course will take place at Sønsterud VGS in week 25. Food and accommodation will be included. Salary will not be given during the course period.

Qualifications

It is desirable that applicants have some expertise in forestry/outdoors or other relevant experience.

Interest in forestry is important.

Personal qualities

It is desirable that the applicant is in good shape.
The applicant must be able to get to the agreed meeting place on their own.
