The Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit is part of the Department of Emergency Medicine in the Gjøvik-Lillehammer division. The department consists of an anesthesia unit, emergency department, intensive care, postoperative and medical services at Gjøvik and Lillehammer, as well as occupational/physiotherapy at Lillehammer.

Intensive:
We are a modern department with monitoring and intensive care function for both medical and surgical patients. The department treats acutely/critically ill patients who require varying degrees of monitoring, treatment and care. The department offers ventilator, dialysis and mask treatment, and is part of the treatment team for cardiac arrest, acute stroke and mobile emergency team for stabilization on the ward.

Intensive care:
