Do you want an exciting summer job in Stor-Elvdal municipality? We have a need for motivated summer temps in the health and coping - home-based services sector, which consists of home nursing, home help service, Granheim retirement home, caretaker service and day center.

We are looking for temps for nurses, protective nurses, auxiliary nurses and care workers, as well as kitchen hosts and assistants in the summer of 2025, primarily in the period 16 June to 17 August. It is expected to work a minimum of 5 weeks during this period. Priority will be given to applicants who can work the entire period. Relevant training will be provided. Applicants for home care must be over 18 years of age. Applicants for Granheim Alderpensjonat must be 16 years old during 2025 with the exception of kitchen hosts who must be 15 years old during 2025.

In your application, you must state when you can work and whether there are any periods when you cannot work. State your preferred place of work, prioritize if you want several places of work.

Applicants must be able to produce a police certificate, cf. Section 20a of the Health Personnel Act.

Work tasks

Home nursing:

• Provide health care to users living at home

Home help:

• Provide practical assistance such as cleaning of homes to users living at home

Granheim retirement home:

• Provide health care and practical assistance such as cleaning of housing for residents of the retirement home
• The kitchen host assists at meals and with other non-healthcare tasks such as cleaning of common areas and the like

Caretaker service:

• Provide practical assistance and deliver aids to users living at home. In addition, perform a number of practical tasks such as garbage disposal, drive laundry to / from laundry and lawn mowing around nursing homes, retirement homes and adapted homes.

Day center:

• Be present and assist users with, for example, activation. The day center is open 2 days per week, Mondays and Thursdays

Qualifications

• For work in home care, we want health-related education such as health worker, nurse or that you are in training for health-related work
• For work at Granheim retirement home, it is an advantage with experience from similar work, but training will be provided if you do not have experience
• You must be fluent in Norwegian - written and oral
• Driver's license minimum class B (manual gear) is required for work in home care, home help and day center. A driver's license minimum class BE (manual gear and trailer) is required for work in janitorial services.
