The vacation period lasts from mid-June to mid-August at all our departments within the occupational groups:

  • Nurses
  • Nurses
  • Health professionals
  • Nursing staff
  • Professional institutional cook
  • Kitchen assistants
  • Post hosts (preparation, organization and serving of meals) at Trysil bo- og aktivitetssenter

About the units

Trysil bo- og aktivitetssenter (BOAK)

Trysil bo- og aktivitetssenter has 70 places divided into 4 different departments and in addition 1 KAD place. We are a vibrant nursing home with exciting and varied work tasks. We have a great commitment to creating joy of life for the elderly. We want to be an "open house" characterized by activities. Here they will be able to live a good everyday life and the service will build on this. We want to be an innovative and forward-looking nursing home with satisfied employees who can use and develop their skills with us.

Unit for everyday coping

Unit for everyday coping dept. 1, 2 and 3 provides health services and personal assistance and personal assistance to users living at home, with the aim of helping the individual to live at home for as long as possible and live independently.

Under the unit for coping with everyday life are also departments 4, 5 and 6, the housing service. This consists of the Hagebæk, Bergetunet and Lundevegen 6/8 housing communities. Services for the disabled are provided here. We have a great commitment to creating joy in life for our users, with many nice and fun activities.

Mental health unit, outreach team

The mental health unit is a low-threshold service for people with mental health and substance abuse challenges. We strive to be easily accessible so that those in need can get quick and targeted help. Outreach teams work to follow up users living at home with contact visits, support conversations and medication.

Department for night services

In the department for night services, we have gathered all night shifts throughout the sector. Those who work there only work at night and serve all departments, both at BOAK and in everyday mastery. We provide services to all age groups and within all disciplines. Temporary workers are often given limited subject areas to work in, depending on their interest and experience/knowledge.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Formal education for the subject area in the relevant department/unit is an advantage
  • Applicants over 18 will be given priority, with the exception of students in health education
  • Experience within the relevant department/unit is desirable
  • Motivation and professional interest in the relevant field is an advantage
  • Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written Norwegian
  • All applicants who are offered a position must present a valid police certificate before taking up the position, with the exception of positions as postmasters
  • For professionals/university graduates, documented Norwegian authorization is required

In the unit for everyday coping and the unit for mental health outreach teams, a driving license class B is required, manual transmission. In the unit for everyday coping dept. 1 and 2, applicants with a driving license on a moped can be considered. They must dispose of the vehicle themselves. If operations permit, applicants without a driver's license can be considered for positions in the unit for everyday mastering dept. 3, dept. 4 (Hagebæk) and dept. 5 (Bergetunet).

Applicants under the age of 18 can be considered for the following departments:

  • Trysil living and activity center: dept. 7 - the kitchen, dept. 3 and 4 (long-term wards) and Borgtun (dementia care ward)
  • Unit for everyday coping: dept. 1 and 2 (must have a moped driver's license and dispose of the vehicle), dept. 3, dept. 4. Hagebæk and dept. 5 (Bergetunet)

  • Pleasant and educational workplaces
  • Salary in accordance with the collective agreement and salary policy guidelines in Trysil municipality
  • Offer of a framework agreement as on-call substitute after the end of the vacation period

Assignment takes place according to laws and agreements that apply to Trysil municipality and interviews may be conducted with relevant applicants.

We can assist in obtaining inexpensive housing for applicants with an out-of-town residential address who do not already work in Trysil municipality.
