Do you want an exciting summer job in Stor-Elvdal municipality? We have a need for motivated summer temps in the health and coping sector - Moratunet nursing home, which consists of a long-term ward, short-term ward, adapted ward for people with dementia, laundry/cleaning and kitchen.

We are looking for temps for nurses, auxiliary nurses, care workers, health professionals and assistants, as well as kitchen hosts for the summer of 2025, primarily in the period June 16 to August 17. It is expected to work a minimum of 5 weeks during this period. Priority will be given to applicants who can work the entire period. Relevant training will be provided. Applicants for nursing departments must be 16 years old in 2025, with the exception of kitchen hosts at Moratunet nursing home who turn 15 during the year. In your application, you must state when you can work and whether there are any periods when you cannot work. State your preferred place of work, and prioritize if you wish to work in more than one place.

Applicants must be able to produce a police certificate, cf. the Health Personnel Act, etc. § 20 a.


Tasks

In the care wards (long-term ward, short-term ward and adapted ward for people with dementia):

  • Care tasks
  • Assisting patients at meals
  • Taking walks with and being in the company of patients
  • Other incidental work

In laundry and cleaning:

  • Handle textiles
  • Handle dirty laundry
  • Daily cleaning of nursing home areas
  • Other incidental work

In kitchen:

  • Prepare meals
  • Dishwashing
  • Other incidental work

As kitchen host:

  • Serving meals
  • Ordering goods in the kitchen
  • Dishwashing
  • Assisting patients at meals
  • Handling textiles, washing rinsing rooms, taking out the rubbish/laundry and washing refrigerators, etc.
  • Make beds and clean rooms
  • Walk with and provide company for patients
  • Other incidental work

Qualifications

  • You must be fluent in Norwegian. written and oral
