We at Gjøvik are looking for bioengineering students or bioengineers for vacation substitution for the summer of 2025 at our section for blood bank and medical biochemistry, Gjøvik.
There are separate rotations at blood bank and medical biochemistry, both with 24-hour staffing. As a holiday substitute, you work during the day.
The following subject areas are covered by the section: Immunohematology, blood donor collection, pre-analysis, blood gas, chemistry, hematology, coagulation/special coagulation and urinalysis.

The number of working days per week may vary. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

If you are a bioengineering student, it may also be relevant to work as a substitute during other periods of the year if desired.

Work tasks

As a holiday temp at the blood bank, you will have the task of drawing blood donors, in addition to blood sampling in medical biochemistry.
In medical biochemistry, the tasks will mainly consist of blood sampling on the ward or in the outpatient clinic.

Bioengineers/bioengineering students
Must have a good command of Norwegian, both written and oral
